Steve has appeared in a number of West End shows including, La Cage aux Folles, Fiddler on the Roof, Noises Off , Jesus Christ Superstar , Hard Times , Chess, Annie Get Your Gun, and Underneath the Arches.

Other theatre work  includes Taking Steps and  The Railway Children at the Little Theatre, Sheringham, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers  at the Open Air Theatre, Regents Park, 42nd Street, Chichester Festival  and Curve, Leicester, Me and My Girl  Crucible Sheffield, The Music Man and Carousel, Chichester Festival Theatre, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Whistle Down The Wind, (National Tours)  Romeo & Juliet Old Rep Theatre, Birmingham, Great Expectations ,Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham and tour,  The Little Match Girl ,Lyric Hammersmith, and Henry V and The Revengers Tragedy at the Old Red Lion Theatre.

Steve has also played  Dame in pantomime on many occasions. Last year he played Widow Twankey in Aladdin at the Waddon Theatre, Croydon. He has also played  ugly sister Kourtney in Cinderella and  Dame Trott in Jack and the Beanstalk both at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, Dame Mir-I-am in Sleeping Beauty at the Gala, Durham,  Dame Dotty in Beauty and the Beast at the Woodville Gravesend, Nurse Nanny Nora in Sleeping Beauty and Widow Twanky in Aladdin at the Roses, Tewkesbury. He was also in the Old Vic production of Aladdin with Sir Ian McKellen, although on that occasion he let him play the Dame!

In 2014 he directed and played Dame Dotty in  Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs  for Butlin’s Holiday Resort, Bognor Regis ,probably the longest running panto in the country as it ran from  April through to January!

When not performing Steve is a  Creative Assistant and Producer for the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts, a job he loves as he gets to go around the country visiting the many academies and seeing the fantastic work that the young people are doing.

Having been told frequently that he has distinctive voice Steve has recently been concentrating on  work as a Voice Over artist and has recently voiced a information campaign for Age UK will soon be the voice of a Professor in a brand new PC game which is currently in development. His television credits include Raiders of the lost Art, Derren Brown –The Experiments, Scoop ,Only Fools And Horses, Back Up, The Jump, EastEnders, The Bill, Birds Of A Feather, Nelson’s Column.
